Since
1924, The Southern District YMCA/Camp Lincoln has been working with local agencies and organizations to meet the needs of the Exeter Area Community. The YMCA anticipates operating a full facility “swim & gym” by utilizing approximately 50,000 square feet of the new community center. A membership fee is required but no one will be turned away because of their inability to pay. Programs from swim lessons and camp to family fitness and yoga will be available to non-members and members alike. (visit

Squamscott Community Commons: a 501(c)(3) organization maintaining an intergenerational community center and serving as a community support organization: a convener and catalyst for identifying and addressing community needs and issues. Local community groups and organizations will be able to utilize the space and grounds for meetings, events and public programs. Look for a community calendar, community living room, adult service programs, environmental recreation programs in our Little River backyard, and more.
